Zoila Cruz’s love for sewing began at an early age. She opened her first business in her home town and than came to New York were she worked for top designers that included Morgane Le Fay, Miguelina, Libertine and Thakoon.   She gradually began to set her sights on starting her own Sample Room in the Garment Center in 2005.  Zoila earned an Advanced Patternmaking Skills certificate from the Garment Industry Development Corporation (GIDC) in association with the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

Zoila’s Sample Room is now the home of many designers seeking her expert workmanship and ability to create their collections and even handle first production. She has worked for some of the top designers in New York, offering her customers a complete range of wardrobe products in every style and over 10,000 fabrics to choose from.  With a range of custom-lines items from casual to formalwear, Zoila’s Sample Room are the experts in tailoring clothing to match your personal style and physique.
